Warehouse / FLT Operative

Salary: £13.8 per hour

SRS Recruitment Ltd are proud to be working with a new client who are one of the UK’s leading plumbing, heating and cooling specialists. 

As a Warehouse Operative you will be part of a team for ensuring that product is safely unloaded, accurately booked-in, carefully picked and packed ready for daily deliveries, whilst strictly adhering to Company Health and Safety procedures and Business Controls.

Your main duties will include (but not limited to);

• Receive and process warehouse stock
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection according to schedule
• Drive a fork lift truck – Counter Balance Forklift and Pivot Steer Forklift certification is ESSENTIAL
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Report any supply or stock discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

We are looking for someone who has;

• Ability to work in a friendly team environment and build strong working relationships
• An ability to complete tasks that involve heavy / physical work
• High attention to detail and ability to solve problems using your own initiative
• Good level of numeracy and literacy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Warehouse experience, however this is not essential, as a can do, positive attitude and a willingness to learn is far more important to us.
