Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a General Accounts Assistant to join this great Accounts team and established family run company based at the head office in Luton. The right person will be someone that has a good sense of humor, is a reliable team player and is looking for a stable job for long term job as a general account assistant. You will have previous experience in a similar accounts assistant role. 

The role requires someone that has an understanding with experience in assisting in an accounts department doing various aspects of the accounting functions to support month end, so you will need to have experience of: 

– sales ledger 

– Purchase ledger 

– Reconciliations 

– Credit control 

– cash book allocations 

You will be required to update the database accurately so good attention to detail and keyboard skills are essential along with proficient IT skills.

If you have knowledge of ERP that would be great but not essential.

You will be a team player willing to muck in and support the rest of the team 

You will have great communication skills – friendly, affable and confident

Hours 

Mon- Fri 8.45-5pm (40 hours pw)
