Warehouse and Forklift Driver

We are currently looking to recruit for a warehouse/ forklift driver to work on various shifts. You will be required to be flexible in your approach to work with around 80% warehouse and order picking and 20% forklift work.

Duties

Picking and packing customer orders

Ensuring all consignments are addressed correctly and scanned out for dispatch

Ensuring all stock is located in the correct place and are correctly stored within the respective locations

Weekend work may be necessary during certain weeks.

Warehouse Duties

Accepting and checking deliveries

Offloading and unpacking goods

Accurately check all incoming stock for shortages and damage

Ensure all stock is handled in a way as to minimise the risk of damage while in stock or during delivery

Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards

General warehouse cleaning and tidying

Process customer returns and ensure all items entering the warehouse are checked taking care to make sure that the parts returned reflects what is on the despatch note and that all goods are fit for purpose in order to resale.

Ensure that any items returned are checked-in and the stock is updated via in-house systems to show the true stock allocation

IDEAL CANDIDATES:

* Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to timescales as directed by the Manager
* Bright and positive with a keen eye for detail
* Conscientious with great teamwork skills
* Counter Balance Fork lift License RTITB OR EQUIVILENT
* Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn
* Accuracy and attention to detail is vital
