Plumber Subcontract

TSG Building Services Plc. is a fast expanding, family run, multi-disciplined building services company with contracts all over the South East. There are five divisions within the company; Servicing & Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction and Renewables. We are now looking to recruit a qualified Plumber with heating experience covering West London as well as surrounding areas, working in occupied and void properties of local housing authorities.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager/Supervisor, you will be expected to carry out various plumbing jobs including water leaks, power flushing, radiator replacements and system upgrades.

This is a mobile position and a certain amount of travel will be involved. The vast majority of work will be conducted on properties in the West London area, however a degree of flexibility is required as you may be asked to cover other areas.

– A relevant plumbing qualification
– A current clean driving licence
– Ablility to demonstrate a flexible and positive approach
– Ability to work well in a team environment as well as on your own.
– Be very customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to
communicate effectively with clients and tenants.
– Have a good knowledge of health and safety requirements relating to the role.
– Experience of working on contracts within the social housing sector is desirable

You will also be required to be DBS checked and have an up to date Asbestos Awareness Certificate.

This is on a subcontract basis only, you will be required to provide your own van and tools and have the appropriate public liability insurance. You will be expected to produce documents of your relevant qualifications and insurance.
