Installation / Warehouse Operative

Grafters recruit are looking for Warehouse and Installations Operative to work for our client in Peterborough. You must have previous experience in a similar role. You need to be flexible and able to travel abroad as well as in the UK. You need to have a full and clean driving licence. Heavy lifting required

You need to be fit, hard working and conscientious.

Responsibilities:
•ensure all site visits are carefully planned and completed to the standard required
•follow all on site procedure and Health and Safety requirements

Educational background:
•O level/ GCSE standard

Professional Background:
•minimum of 2 years experience working in a warehouse
•intermediate technical knowledge regarding installation of steel framework would be an advantage
•experience of working outside the UK

Skills required:
•good physical health
•forklift licence would be an advantage
•ability to work under pressure
•ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
•able to multi-task
•good communication skills
•excellent English – written and spoken

Key tasks:
•support the Installation Supervisor
•ensure the install and service call department is ran efficiently
•provide outstanding customer service
•follow all company policies, procedures, practices and legislative requirements
•report all problems or queries to the Installation Supervisor
•ensure all company vehicles used for site visits are kept in good order and are inspected
•provide cover for picking and packing

Salary: £19.2500 – £17 000 depending on experience
