Maintenance Planner

Location: Leicester, Groby Duration: 9 months Key

Responsibilities Own and manage the CMMS system including maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory management Maintain CMMS data including assets, inventory, and maintenance schedules Create daily and weekly maintenance schedules for technicians Analyse CMMS data to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime Manage maintenance spares and inventory levels Raise purchase requests and support PO approval processes Coordinate with contractors for site visits, RAMS, permits, and service reports Raise permits and manage contractor bookings through internal systems Essential

Requirements

Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience in work order planning and procurement within an engineering environment Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving

Skills

Experience in maintenance planning and inventory management

Experience using SAP and SSG Insight Agility Background in a maintenance engineering environment Education No formal qualification required Planning or maintenance coordination
