Senior Financial Accounting Manager

A leading organisation operating across large scale commercial operations is seeking a Senior Financial Accounting Manager to join its finance team on the outskirts of Northampton. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the integrity of technical reporting across multiple UK business units, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and enhance financial processes.

What you'll do : Ensure financial reporting is accurate and in line with accounting standards, contractual terms and internal policies Review and approve key accounting judgements, including timing considerations and associated balance sheet positions Oversee and analyse intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate treatment for group reporting Provide technical accounting support on new contracts, complex transactions, and judgemental areas such as provisions and leases Partner with senior business stakeholders to provide clear guidance on technical accounting matters Identify and drive process improvements across reporting and control frameworks Contribute to wider finance transformation initiatives, including systems improvements Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards What you'll bring: ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong financial accounting and audit background Strong analytical
