We are looking for a Business Analyst/Project Manager to work with the Head of Technology, to capture and define customer requirements, define the solution and manage the smooth delivery of projects on time, to specification and on budget.
Job Description:
- Capturing requirements in detail
- Producing UML diagrams to model the solution
- Writing up technical solutions
- Working closely with design, online marketing and development teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood by all stakeholders.
- Managing client needs and project tasks from project inception to completion
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers.
- Balancing project priorities on a monthly basis to meet changing targets.
- Productions and maintenance of spreadsheets used to report on project budgets, milestones and issues.
- Updating clients with progress in a variety of formats depending on specific client and project needs.
- Ensuring all relevant client communications are presented/shared with the relevant members of the project team.
- Early identification of any changes requested that are out of project scope, costing and quote.
Skills Range:
Essential:
- Experience of 2 or more years running multiple projects within a similar environment
- Experience in agile and/or waterfall methods
- Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail
- A good team player, but can also work well independently
- Pro-active and self motivatedBe able to work well under pressure and prioritise workloads, think ahead and anticipate problems
- Be a highly organised, enthusiastic, resilient individual with initiative
Desirable:
- Previously worked as a Business Analyst (BA) role.
- Previous travel experience
- Relevant degree
- Experience maintaining project schedules including resource allocation, task completion, dependencies, and critical path.
- Experience creating, and reporting on project risk, issue and opportunities.
Our offices are located 5 minutes from Brighton mainline train station on the 8th floor of the funky and creative New England House, with beautiful views over Preston Park and Brighton. We have a modern open plan office with pool table and well equipped staff area. We work Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17:30 and Friday we finish at 15:00 and in the nicer weather we usually head down the pub! We’re a fairly casual crowd, but if you are client facing you are naturally asked to spruce yourself up a bit for the occasion.
Upon successful completion of your probationary period, you will be offered the opportunity to join our company healthcare scheme and you will automatically join our death in service scheme. We offer 20 days holiday on top of bank holidays, rising by 1 day each year to a maximum of 25 days.
