A Level Graduate or Aat Trainee

Our client is a rapidly expanding firm of Accountants based in the Guildford area. They have a young, dynamic team and the business continues to grow at a rapid pace. Due to this ongoing success the company now seek an A level graduate or junior AAT studier to join them. They offer excellent training and support to study AAT and ACCA.

You will report to the Directors and Practice Manager and enjoy a varied role which includes lots of client interaction.

The main duties involve:

• All aspects of general bookkeeping
• Monthly financial reporting (including learning how to prepare management accounts)
• Tax calculations inc VAT returns
• Basic payroll duties

To secure this role you must be numerate, well organised and possess strong communication skills. You must also been keen to pursue a career in accounting, and study towards the AAT qualification. Ideally you will also live within a 30 minute commute of Guildford.

This is a fantastic career opportunity for Trainee seeking a first move into finance and accounting.

This role is based in smart, modern offices and close to public transport links. The working hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30 pm and holidays start at 20 days per annum.
