Application Support Consultants – ERP Software – Newbury or Dublin

I am looking for 2x Application Support Consultants for a market leader in the supply of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)software designed for an incredibly wide range of distribution, retail and supplies networks.

The Application Support Consultants will be working within the Software Support Department, assisting customers with queries and problems relating to application software, acting essentially in a 1st Line support or 2nd Line support capacity. The department also is involved in the installation of new software and customer training.

The roles can be based either nr Newbury or in Dublin and fall into two operating areas – Accounts and Trading (PLEASE STATE ON YOUR APPLICATION WHAT ROLE AND LOCATION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR – e.g Trading – Dublin)

My client is looking for people to effectively and efficiently handle incoming calls from clients using the call logging system and taking the appropriate action.

Dealing with complaints and call escalation requests in the correct manner. Being able to identify calls that are not support related, such as sales calls, system changes request etc in the correct way using the set guidelines.

The ideal knowledge and experience for Application Support Consultants

Extensive experience working in a customer focused role

Good knowledge of Accounting principles or

Good Knowledge of trading principals in a commercial environment

Software support experience at 1st Line or 2nd Line

Experience in stock management environment would be useful

Relevant Business Studies, IT Qualification or AAT or higher would be useful

Remuneration:

Salary £26,400 – £30,000 Accounts

Salary £26,400 – £28,800 Trading
