Architectural Technician

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for architectural technicians to join their technical team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Technician looking to join a successful company where you can develop your skills and establish yourself.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years UK based experience, with a good amount of experience in residential developments. AutoCAD proficiency is essential as is a good knowledge of UK building regulations. You will be ambitious and determined and work equally as well in autonomously as in a team.

You will be expected to produce and amend planning drawing packages, with a good knowledge of Design principals and building construction methods. A sound knowledge of AutoCAD along with previous residential housing experience at either developer level or private practice is essential.

Key requirements:

• Experience of producing all working technical drawings and specification
• Good building detailing skills
• Up to date knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Construction knowledge
• Proficient with AutoCAD
