3rd Line Support / Infrastructure Analyst – Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory/Group Policy, VB Script, MS Exchange 2010, Powershell, SCCM / Gold Image Build. Contract. Central London/South West London. 3 months+ £300 p/day

Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Analyst required to work within the small but growing IT department of a high profile facilities management company.

You will be required to provide all-round IT Support expertise with additional, specific, expertise in the administration of the 3rd line administration of MS Exchange 2010 server utilising Powershell for automated tasks as well as Active Directory/Group Policy Administration. You will work to enhance and deliver logon scripts for user profiles (desktops) written in VBScript which are managed via AD. Finally, you will work to build the Gold Image and Task Sequence on a relatively young build ready for deployment to the desktop environment with SCCM 2012.

Daily duties will range from providing 3rd line infrastructure support across Windows Server 2008/2012 AD/GPo with Powershell and VMWare Esxi hosts, maintaining and supporting MS Exchange 2010 with use of Powershell, administering SCCM for O/S gold image and application deployment. Write VBScript from scratch to enhance the user logon experience.Additionally, you will act as a point of escalation for certain desktop issues/periods of high demand.

Your main focus will be Wintel Infrastructure specifically: Windows Server Active Directory, MS Exchange 2010/2013 and also SCCM administration. 3rd Line BAU Server Administration tasks will include the maintenance of the Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 environment, VMWare virtualisation estate with Active Directory/Group Policy administration and troubleshooting, DNS, DHCP maintenance etc.

We are searching for an Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Analyst / Wintel Engineer who has been working in a similar all-round capacity with a main focus on Windows Server AD/GPo, MS Exchange 2010 and SCCM. You will be able write Powershell and VBScript and be comfortable undertaking tasks within both Exchange 2010/2013, Windows Server 2008/2012 with Powershell and write VBScript as described above.

We will need you to adapt to this element of the 3rd line support role quickly. Aside from this you will have gained experience in 3rd line BAU AD/GP, Exchange and SCCM. Strong organisation, documentation and communication skills are pre-requisite. Powershell and VBscript capabilities required.
