ASSISTANT HOUSING OFFICER
BEACON HOUSE, 53 – 65 WHITEHOUSE ROAD, IPSWICH, SUFFOLK
£21,985 TO £24,428 PER ANNUM
37.5 HOURS PER WEEK – MONDAY TO FRIDAY 7.5 HOURS PER DAY
In this role as Assistant Housing Officer you will support the Housing Officer to ensure a high quality housing service is delivered to our customers, including dealing with low level anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement issues.
In addition to arranging viewings of properties for residents, you will also ensure the effective coordination and sign up of all tenancies and mutual exchanges. You will support with site visits and estate inspections, therefore there will be a need to travel around the local operation as and when required.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has the ability to work well within a busy team. With a commitment to customer service coupled with a positive attitude when faced with challenging situations, you will be outcome focused and have excellent time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills will also be key to your success as you will need to be confident working with other agencies to deliver positive outcomes for our residents. Experience using computer packages including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar) is required.
As travel is a requirement of the role, a full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
