Capita Education is recruiting for a thriving rural school graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted based near Killamarsh. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis to support a Year 4 pupil full time. The successful applicant will support the pupil’s learning and development through Key Stage 2.

The school has since grown year on year and will, from September 2015, be a complete one form entry Primary Department, with pupils from reception through to year six. The Primary Department is popular and oversubscribed. Staff are valued and enabled to fulfil their potential within a supportive and friendly atmosphere. The school are proud of the commitment and skills of their staff and the fun and exciting curricular and non-curricular activities they provide to successfully engage children.

This post requires an experience Teaching Assistant who displays a thorough understanding of the needs of pupils on the autism spectrum and has experience supporting children 1:1 in mainstream education.
