Position: AAT Trainee / AAT Qualified – Top 10 Firm!

An exceptional opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Department of a Top 10 firm of chartered accountants based in Liverpool.

This role is ideal for a career orientated part qualified or qualified AAT studier with at least 12 months experience from within public practice. A training contract for ACA / ACCA will be offered on completion of the AAT.

The Business Services department delivers a range of services including month end accounts, statutory reporting, book keeping and other company compliance areas and this department is seen as a key growth area for the firm nationally and therefore excellent career progression opportunities can be offered!

Clients range from owner managed businesses through to large groups. An assistant within the Business Services Department will form part of the team servicing a broad range of diverse businesses working both on site and in the office, ensuring that all aspects of the assignment are completed on time and within budget. The individual will be supported, developed and supervised by senior members of the team.

Essential Requirements are:

• Part Qualified AAT or fully qualified
• At least 12 months experience in practice covering accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Experience with caseware, SAGE, Iris, Xero and Quickbooks is ideal but not essential (training can be provided)
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and a drive to succeed
