Rapidly expanding, highly specialist, market leading software company seeks to further leverage an exceptionally strong and stable position built over more than thirty years serving clients in areas including Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia. The business is now looking to appoint up to three highly creative, progressive and organised Business Development Coordinators to work with and support experienced Business Development Managers.

Based in Tyne & Wear, requiring travel (UK developing to overseas), key responsibilities of the role include:

• Negotiating and agreeing contracts with existing clients
• Providing sales support with existing accounts and assisting in winning new business
• Assisting with compiling information for Bids and Tenders
• Conducting lead generating activities as required
• Demonstrating software to clients
• Acting as a focal point for customer/potential customers enquiries
• Participating in monthly sales team meetings
• Organising and attending conferences and exhibitions

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong recent software sales experience preferably gained serving engineering businesses, together with demonstrable related technical knowledge
• Previous business development and/or account management experience, preferably including providing quotations and using on-line tendering portals
• Comfortable interacting with customers at all levels
• Exceptional communication skills
• Flexibility, pragmatism, independence, initiative and a calm cooperative approach
• Driving licence
