An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a field based Account Manager to join the UK market leader in the manufacture and retail of domestic water softeners. With UK based R&D and manufacturing, our client continues to grow their UK market share, whilst also continuing to grow internationally.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated Account Manager to provide support to the top clients within their dealer network. As an Account Manager you will be a key interface with third party dealers, you will be charged with helping the dealers increase sales and improve closing rates. You will also have the opportunity to bring on new dealers, if the opportunity arises.
Reporting to the Managing Director, key accountabilities will include:
- Regularly meeting top dealers, providing great customer service in order to increase sales
- Providing support with all product dealers and resolving any queries or issues they may have
- Helping dealers increase sales, providing product demonstrations and coach to help them sell more
- Demonstrating the support available of the in house marketing function to increase lead generation
- Identifying opportunities to promote your brand
- Handling basic technical queries
- Helping with trade shows, and promotional activities for dealers and the business
- Supporting the dealer with new marketing campaigns
The successful candidate will be customer service orientated but have the commercial acumen to increase sales. You will be self motivated, enthusiastic, comfortable working alone or as part of a team. Applicants must also have field based sales or account management experience, with a clear and demonstable track record of growing a business or region.
Experience of working in the the construction, or ‘trades’ or franchise businesses would be advantageous but not essential.

Base salary £36,000 – 45,000, realistic OTE to £78,000 per annum
