The Bail Accommodation Support Service (BASS) is a national contract which provides, primarily, accommodation and support for either offenders released from prison subject to home detention curfew, or defendants remanded on bail.
About the role
The BASS contract supports defendants on bail and offenders subject to Home Detention curfew in primarily 2 and 3 bedroom properties throughout England and Wales. The acquisitions manger plays a pivotal role in overseeing the acquisition of new properties, the de-commissioning of properties deemed surplus to requirements, and the management of rental payments.
The role includes the line management of a small team, and liaison with staff and managers within both the wider BASS Team and other parts of Home Group. The post will require national travel, and for the post holder to have use of their own vehicle, for which a monthly allowance is payable.
