With Locations Uk wide and enjoying a significant market share our client is one of the largest service providers in the UK. We are looking for motivated people from a service sector sales role, who have consultative sales skills and have ideally sold a service on a contractual basis.
This is a 100% existing account development role that requires people that are happy to sell new business and new revenue stream through existing accounts.
Candidates from a records management, scanning, shredding, parcels, courier or logistics, professional services, stationary, cleaning, mailroom, type backgrounds would have an advantage, but equally important is new business sales success with a proven track record as although these are existing clients we are looking for someone to drive growth within them.
This role is covering both central London and the M25 and home counties area and will include large national accounts spending 100’s of thousands as well as smaller companies spending £6-30,000.
You will need to have sold a suitably similar service on a contract basis at a similar level or have a proven track record of success and looking to further your career.
The Account Manager is there to protect, retain and cross sell into thier account base.
Build rapport and develop strong working relationships by identifying the key stakeholders in the business that are responsible for our services. Understand client needs, internal buying processes and actively resolve any issues arising. Explore opportunities that might exist within other departments, sites and other companies within the group. Seek opportunities and ensure the maximum potential revenue across the Restore portfolio is derived from those accounts going forward.
Key Personal Activities and Responsibilities

Take a key role in assisting to resolve identified client difficulties.

Identify and maximise all revenue opportunities in the allocated accounts

All required information is entered into CRM daily

Ensure effective sales diary and territory planning takes place maximising personal effectiveness and minimising down time.

Take ownership and be accountable of set revenue targets and actively seek out ideas and opportunities to increase business within your designated geographical area.

Actively be involved in business planning and shaping the way this role can be fully profitable with your line manager

Report monthly and when requested to Tim Ryder in a timely manner.

Use the client data sheet for all accounts
Monthly reporting to be taken from the CRM and to update sales manager and Sales Director on the following: Activity (appointments, split out by accounts and prospects) Pipeline. Actual revenue v Target Revenue
