OVERVIEW
Establish this luxury brand as the leader and reference in terms of quality portioned products in the Key Accounts in the UK and Ireland. Ensure the commercial development of the brand by enhancing machine assortment and brand visibility at those accounts, while building strong relationships with buying office and merchandising head-office team. Be a passionate ambassador of the brand’s message.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Set up annual targets of machine sales by Key Account, review and agree those targets with their buying office.
– Define and agree promotional activities (Windows, In-store displays, Path-to-Purchase, Events, Catalogue, etc,) with buying office and merchandising head-office team. Liaise and co-ordinate with Trade Marketing Manager to organise those activities.
– Discuss and review machine range together with each KA buying office. Track and publish this to Field Team as per cycle requirements.
– Define, negotiate and agree permanent fixtures location (corners). Manage the installation of all new corners, and the maintenance/repair of existing. Provide Field Team with Corner priorities (including planograms) as a “virtual account”.
– Monthly reporting of sell-out, machine ranging, number of stores, New Members and demonstration days per account. Report and follow-up competitors activities at trade level.
– Manage and organise the brand’s Academy training sessions for KA staff.
– Control and ensure sufficient stock level per account. Liaise and co-ordinate with machine partner and buying office.
– Generate interest/demand at KA level in the category by communicating consumer trends & developments, and premium positioning of the brand
THE PERSON
– Ideally a Graduate Business Qualification.
– Extensive experience in field sales or a specialist retail sales environment.
– Affinity with high-end luxury and/or quality food and drink products.
– Strong communication/influencing skills.
– Strong planning/project management skills.
– Excellent analytical skills.
– Ability to work under pressure.
– High level of reliability.
– Thrives working with a tight knit field team.
– Account management and retail sales experience.
– Detailed knowledge of Windows IT environment.
– Strong enthusiasm/passion for the product.
