Our client are a leading IT Solutions company based in Romford looking to recruit a new Account Manager to join their award winning team. The company has experience YOY growth and now turnover more than £1 Billion per annum and have office based in over 30 countries employing over 5000 people. In this Account Manager role you will be the initial point of contact for key clients selling their printing and software solutions in a consultative way having good quality conversations with senior decision makers. You will develop new business opportunities aiming to develop an account base for you to reap the rewards. Ability to establish working relationships based on commitment and repeat business is essential so confidence and enthusiasm are a must. Some opportunities will be provided to you however the top earners in this role will be proactive.

Progression is available quickly and the company pride themselves on the development of their staff offering a long term career. Average 1st year earnings are between 28k – 32k however this is uncapped. 2nd year you will find a generous basic increase after a salary review and realistic commission of around 36k – 40k. Responsibilities of a Account Manager

– Hit monthly sales targets
– Develop and source new business opportunities
– Diary management
– Follow up on incoming leads
– Ability to speak to decision makers
– Ability to see new business opportunities
– Manage relationships
– Build rapport quickly
– Increase sales levels
– Hit monthly KPI’s

Skills/Experience Required

– Drive, Determination and Enthusiasm
– Confident
– Experience developing new business
– Ability to establish and maintain key business relationships
– Strong Listening skills
– Exceptional communication skills
– Understanding / previous experience in consultative solution selling

Desired

– Educated to Degree Level
– 1+ years B2B experience
