1 x Night shift 7pm – 7am (4-on 4-off) 28k-30k

Due to our continued growth, We are looking for 2 x 2nd Line Engineer to join the Technical Support Group

Job Purpose

• To handle incidents and requests escalated by the Service desk
• Manage daily incident volumes ranging across a broad technical spectrum
• Creation of knowledgebase articles, and perform in depth problem analysis
• Deployment and testing scenarios
• Dealing with all the general day to day support for our internal users
• Liaising with 3rd parties and other vendors to resolve network issues

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Microsoft/Cisco related qualifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA)
• Excellent knowledge on the full range of Microsoft Operating Systems
• Solid understanding of MS 2003/2008 Windows server
• Solid understanding of MS Exchange 2003/2007
• Ability to diagnose issues and investigate solutions
• Good understanding of network systems
• Proven track record of IT support in a Service Management field
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills and with written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• The position suits a person with excellent general competencies, good telephone manner and an interest to learn.
