Account Manager – Corporate Pr

A rapidly growing Communications Consultancy is seeking an expert account handler to join its London-based team as Account Manager. The successful applicant will manage a broad mix of high-profile corporate PR accounts and will play a pivotal role in the agency’s continued development.

The Account Manager will work closely with the senior team to devise engaging corporate communication programmes and PR strategy in-line with client’s business objectives. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the team, responsible for delegating and overseeing set account activity while effectively managing the team to ensure the delivery of communication programmes. They will have a firm handle on all activity with the insight and problem solving skills to quickly identify and rectify issues.

Positive client relationships are at the top of the Account Manager’s agenda and it is their responsibility to maintain day-to-day contact with clients and to provide clear updates on the progress of account activity. They will always demonstrate a deep understanding of the client’s business and will use this understanding to provide strategic counsel and to assess areas for growth within the account.

The agency is looking for a strong PR professional with outstanding corporate PR credentials and in-depth industry understanding. In addition, you must have practical experience of incorporating social media elements within corporate communications strategies.

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

• Solid PR agency experience at Senior Account Executive or Account Manager level
• Experience of working on high-profile corporate accounts, ideally with some financial services experience
• New business experience
• Strong network of media contacts
• Excellent leadership skills with proven experience in managing junior colleagues
