We are currently looking for Bid Writers to join the Tender Team at our Head Office in Ringmer and our offices in Altrincham and Coventry .
ROLE:
The new role of Bid writer will be responsible for the management and maintenance of contracts with HML’s customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and issue new and updated HML and HML UK quotations and proposals within agreed timescales (NB The jobholder will be required to obtain technical input from other members of the management and clinical teams).
- Preparation of tender responses to include liaison with prospective clients, PQQs, contract pricing and the preparation of full tender responses
- Maintain logs for all new proposals including key third party introducers of new business
- Prepare presentations, other supporting documentation and information required for client meetings held at Client or HML premises and to present/attend such meetings as required.
- Be the point of communication and reference within Health Management for specific target clients.
- On occasion, implement new contracts from point of sale
- Candidates will:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Have excellent organisational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Be able to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in creating proposals for the Public and Private Sector.
- Proven success; excellent conversion / win rate.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of working in a process driven environment.
- Accredited to Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Foundation level (desirable).
- Degree educated (preferably English) or journalistic / professional writing background (desirable).
- You may have experience in the following roles: Bid writer, Tender writer, Bid Manager etc.
