NewStaff are urgently looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Support Analyst for a client of ours based in Bedfordshire.
Excellent customer service is essential, you should be able to work well within a team or independently under own initiative. Candidates should have a can-do attitude as well as a methodical organised approach and a good eye for detail and competent documentation skills a must.
Experience
-Two years in an IT environment with an understanding of:
-Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012 – installing / deploying / configuring
-Windows XP / 7 / 8 – installing / deploying / configuring
-Active Directory – account management / security groups / domain administration
-Exchange 2003 / 2007 / 2010 – email accounts / mail distribution groups
-Anti-virus – deployment / updates / administration
-Networking – TCP/IP / routing / DHCP / DNS / firewalls / NAT / VPNs
-Sound knowledge of computer hardware
Desirable
-VMWare – creation & administration of VM’s / vCentre / ESX hosts / datastores
-Storage – SAN’s / NAS’s / RAID
-Cisco routers – vlans / port configuration / routing / Cisco Anyconnect VPN
-Veeam Backup and Replication – Backups of VMWare VM’s & replication to remote sites
-Symantec Backup Exec 2012 – Dell Powervault tape drives
-Kaspersky End-point Security 10
-Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008 – DB backup / restore / administration
-CITRIX Presentation Server / ZenApp
-FTP/SFTP/IIS server administration
