Accounts Assistant
If you have previous accounts experience either within an Accounts Administrator or Accounts Assistant role, this position might be of interest.
Accounts Assistant duties:
- Full responsibility for credit control and collection of monies outstanding
- Processing and paying supplier invoices
- Resolving customer and supplier queries
- Customer and Supplier account Reconciliations
- Reporting on Aged Debtor and Creditor balances
- Posting all bank transactions
- Processing monthly direct debit run
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assisting with the monthly management accounts preparation i.e. posting journals, updating and reconciling general ledger to control accounts and schedules
- Day to day admin duties, such as opening post, scanning, filing
- Additional ad hoc duties where required
What they are looking for in an Accounts Assistant:
- Ideally will have worked in a similar role in the account function
- A “can do approach”
- Ability to work independently
- Sage 50, Credit control, Accounts payable and excel
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- General ledger, journal entries experience
Additional Information:
- Based in Leatherhead
- £27,600 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Pension
- Vodafone incentive of 20% off mobile contracts
- 28 days holiday inc bank holidays increases with service after 2 years.
