Account Manager (exhibitions)

A growing exhibitions company located on the outskirts of Exeter requires an Account Manager to join their expanding team. The organisation provides bespoke exhibition shells and stands that are used in exhibitions throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to a period of growth, they now require an Account Manager to take responsibility for managing and maintaining existing customer relationships.

This is a varied role and although it is predominately office based it is important for all interested applicants to know that there would be national travel attached to the role. This role includes working weekends as you will be required to be on site to help and ensure a smooth build and to deal directly with the organisers and relay any instructions to the team.

Key responsibilities within the role include:

• To act as the main point of contact for all existing customer enquiries
• To manage customer relationships over the telephone and through face to face meetings
• To attend exhibitions and oversee the build of stands to ensure that they are to the customers satisfaction
• To process customer orders and deal with all relevant sales administration

Candidates interested in the role will need to possess previous account management and customer service experience. All applicants must hold exceptional communication skills and be confident in their approach when managing client accounts. Candidates will need to possess good MS Office skills and be able to work on their own as well within a small close-knit team. Experience of organising events or stand building would be advantageous but isn’t essential. All applicants must be prepared to work weekends and travel nationally when required.

Due to the office location, all applicants will need to have access to a car and possess a full driving license.
