£30-28k base, ote £43k plus car etc

Our client is a leading manufacturer of cleaning equipment and is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover the Greater Manchester region.

Main Tasks

• Promotion Development of end user sales for the Contract Cleaning and retail target markets in the region.
• Account management of existing customers in these sectors.
• New business development
• Optimise channel management for contract cleaner / retail working with colleagues in dealer channels
• Achievement of territory sales targets.
• Following up sales leads.
• Providing advice / product guidance to the end user
• Channelling sales through the local dealer network
• Achieve set KPIs

Candidates

• Motivated individual and can demonstrate this/desire for role and enthusiasm for our particular industry
• Experience of our industry would be an advantage
• Sold products to retail channels
• Developing customer relationships/providing solutions to problems
• Not afraid of cold-calling, proven track record in beating sales targets
• Location sensitive – candidates should be in the territory advised
