Our client, a growing engineering and business services company, are looking to strengthen their accounts function with the hire of a book-keeper/accounts asst.

The role will involve raising all customer invoices (Using Kashflow accounting system), Producing remittances for all suppliers, (Information is gathered from a CRM and collated into Excel), dealing with all supplier payment queries, weekly bank reconciliation, running a weekly list of payments to be made, based on invoices received. Some involvement in credit control, VAT returns quarterly. Monitoring payments received and verifying correct transactions carried out.

Communication skills, and patience, are absolutely essential as you will have a lot of contact with suppliers who are vital to this fast moving business.

The role is offered on a temp-perm basis and an immediate start is preferred.
