Assistant Accountant – Part Qualified

A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant / Semi Senior to join this practice at an exciting time in its development. This is a challenging, progressive role reporting to the Department Manager who will be responsible for your continued development and training and be available to support you day to day. As a Semi Senior, Assistant Accountant you will be working within a supportive team producing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. You will also be responsible for all associated bookkeeping, often preparing accounts from incomplete records, tax and VAT for Clients too.

Candidates must have a demonstrable record of accounts preparation experience within a practice environment, be AAT qualified or ACCA / ACA part qualified and have excellent system skills with Sage Line 50 and Excel. You will also need great communication skills, current practice experience and a stable work history.
