A well-established organisation is currently seeking a 2nd/3rd Line Operator to work in their IT department.

You will be working within a team of 7 with the following duties:
* Answering queries
* Assessing the need for escalations to relevant departments
* Accessing management consoles, windows and UNIX on a daily basis to allow ongoing monitoring and maintenance.
* Assisting with system support activities.

Due to a 24/7 operational support provided, you and the team will be working 12 hour shifts over 4 days/nights.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of FTP, Windows server (up to and including 2008) and possess a high level of attention to detail and efficiency relating to proactive system checks.

Excellent customer service skills are necessary, as you will be liaising with other departments and teams regularly.
