Account Manager, Luton £48,000 – £49,440 + Bonus + Benefits
Our client a FTSE100 Company based in Luton, Bedfordshire has a great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join their Customer Fulfilment team, a key department that exists to serve their valued Key Customers who are Major Blue Chip Brands.
The remit of the role is to ensure the customer expectations are met, to do this you will need to build a strong relationship and really get to understand the demands of the customer.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Management of day to day customer relationship
- Processing orders, stock maintenance and reporting in SAP system
- Production planning to meet customer demands and the company business plan
- Delivery management with Logistics provider and customer specific logistics analysis – link to Supply Chain
- Customer sales forecasting and analysis
- Customer visits & relationship management, development of customer initiatives
- Management of customer credit balances to meet KPI requirements – link to Finance
- Liaison with plant management on operational, technical and commercial issues – link to operations
Experience Required:
- Previous Account Management experience
- Business related degree
- Strong technical skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- SAP knowledge desirable
- Ability to self-manage
- Excellent communication skills
- Driver essential due to client meetings
