1:1 Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Leicester

Hays Education are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Secondary school in Leicester – full time and long term role

Your New Company

You will be working for a large Secondary school in central Leicester. The school which is part of a multi- academy trust strives to ensure that all students are successful and develop as individuals through a broad well-rounded curriculum and enrichment activities.

Your new role

This role involves providing academic and personal support to a Year 7 student, supporting them in their lessons and throughout the school day. You will also help the student by dealing with any issues that arise, encourage them to follow school policies and support with academic, personal and social development.

What you will need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will have recent school based experience and ideally have provided 1:1 support. Experience of supporting learners with additional needs is advantageous. You will also need to undergo a full Hays compliance process including a DBS check and satisfactory references.

What you will get in return

In return, you will secure a full time long term role up until July initially with the potential to become permanent. You will receive competitive rates of weekly and holiday pay. You will be earning between £70 and £26,000 per year subject to experience. You will have a dedicated consultant who is always on call to give support or advice!
