1:1 Sen Teaching Assistant

We are currently working on behalf of a Primary School based in Northumberland who are seeking a part-time teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD. The role would involve working Monday-Friday, mornings only.

Person Specification

• Must hold Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
• Confident supporting on a 1:1 basis with excellent knowledge of ASD
• Be able to commit to the role on an ongoing basis, potentially for the full year
• Able to use initiative and work well as part of a small team, providing full class support as and when it is needed
