Logistics
You will be required to work 40 hours a week during standard business hours; Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, based in our London offices and client sites as and when required.
What Does a 2nd Line Support Engineer Do?
- You will work ‘As One’ with your team mates to provide the best ‘Service Obsessed’ customer service to all of our clients.
- You will be troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and supporting a wide range of SME IT systems, typically for 10-100 users.
- You will have a ‘Hands on’ problem solving approach; solving problems within strict SLA timeframes.
- Work on cases remotely & in on client site via phone, email and Internet.
- Hardware and software, desktop, network and infrastructure support.
- Support Windows platforms, Active Directory and applications (Windows 200/XP, MS Office, Exchange Mailbox administration) and other applications such as antivirus and email applications.
- Log all calls using the IT Helpdesk System and ensure all issues are resolved in the agreed times scales (as and when required).
So, Am I Right for the Job?
- 1 to 3 years’ experience of providing IT Support in a commercial environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting Microsoft software (Office, Exchange, Active Directory, Server etc)
- Formal IT qualification, ideally MCSE/MCITP or multiple MCPs

- Salary dependent upon experience
