Account Receivable Clerk – Television

A very prestigious Global News Television Channel is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their busy finance team based in the City. They are looking for someone who can start immediately who will be willing be willing to accept a permanent role.

• Responsible for the full spectrum of AR function and recording accounting of revenue
• Generate billing invoices to customers as per EMEA or US Sales report.
• Responsible for Inter-co and Cross pole recharges.
• Liaise with Sales and the Collections team on delinquent accounts.
• Liaise with the customers and Commercial Finance centre in Amsterdam and Poland in pursuit of resolving outstanding disputes and debts.
• Reconcile Balance sheet account recs on quarterly basis and submit in Blackline.
• Generate, monitors/reports aging of AR and provide Bad debt.
• Understand VAT/GST & withholding tax requirements and ensure accurate application of indirect tax on invoices, will also assist in requests for VAT/GST tax filing.
• Prepare monthly revenue analysis and revenue related reports for management review.
• Prepare quarterly Barter Revenue calculations.
• Prepare OOH and Subscribers Accruals and support Finance analyst with deferrals/accruals.
• Provide information requested by Auditors during annual review.

Requirements:
• Graduate in Accountancy/studying towards ACCA or CIMA.
• Experiences in Account Receivable, preferably in a Multinational environment.
• Candidates should be meticulous and be a team player.
• Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hands on knowledge of SAP-FICO and Distribution system preferred.
• Experience in using advance MS Excel.
• Able to work independently and under tight schedule
