JOB SPECIFICATION:

A newly created team based out of Central London, you will support the growth of the organisation by working closely with a significant number of leading global brands. We are changing the way the digital generation shop and discover brands all over the world.

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:

* In the role of Key Account Manager you will be striving to achieve national and global accounts sales goals through effective sales, account management working with some of the largest global brands in the world – all of which you will have heard of – alongside some other key, rapidly growing boutique brands.
* You will be meeting key senior decision makers in the Marketing functions of these brands and able to bring about a strength of relationship second to none where both the brand and the business see significant growth through strategic development, enhancing process, hard work and sheer determination to succeed or exceed key sales targets for both these brands and the business.
* You will work also closely with the product team to develop new products and services that emerge from both client requirements and your own ideas and vision therefore the opportunity to apply your experience of developing partnerships beyond our own core offering, maximising relationships across the service offering of large global businesses – be that new ideas to integrate our business with partners or large scale co-marketing initiatives, is one that definitely exists.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES – Account Manager / Key Account Manager / Sales Manager

* Accomplish overall business goals by taking full responsibility for the entire European portfolio of clients (200 major UK clients and a fast growing European client base)
* Provide leadership through direction, management and motivation to the whole UK and European account management through planning, developing and performance evaluation
* Drive a culture of close adherence to all internal processes & procedures and creatively refining these, where necessary, to achieve the greatest operational efficiencies
* Manage your own portfolio of key strategic accounts
* Continuously develop your industry knowledge in whatever form this may take to identify opportunity
* Ensure the account management team is providing ongoing programme support and guidance through pre-launch setup, launch and day-to-day activity and consistently exploring opportunities to add value through regular contact, telephone, email and meetings;
* Oversee the planning, implementation and measurement of performance by collecting, summarising and presenting data to provide reports and key learnings to clients, colleagues, managers and directors alike;
* Be responsible for planning how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products.
* Establish and build strong relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/delivery programs, and communications to other relevant organisational functions/divisions.
* Participate with other key account managers and sales management to develop sales strategies for national/global accounts and help identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the organisation-wide strategy.
* Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

* Experience of building relationships and opening new accounts as well as a demonstration of cross and up sell.
* Your experience in the digital arena is exceptionally valuable however if you have exposure of working in print or broader media instead – we can work with this.
* You will also have solid experience of selling enterprise solutions to Marketing functions.
* You’ll be able to demonstrate a solid breadth of experience within managing multiple key and strategic clients along with the management of account management teams at a similar level
* You will be able to articulate clearly your ability to package, negotiate and sell cross channel and complex media campaigns
* You will be someone that thrives and relishes the challenge of growing and developing revenue streams.
