Role and benefits overview

The purpose of the job is to handle day to day account queries from Partners, to build good relationships with key partners and be the first point of contact for account queries.

Account Managers will manage select accounts to maximise spend, and proactively promote new products and initiatives. You will focus on outbound sales campaigns to enhance sales activity and generate new business. The Account Manager will also be required to handle customer queries and complaints in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

  • To manage day to day queries from Partners and Brokers
  • Providing ongoing support and training to existing customers
  • To ensure targets are met through up-selling and cross-selling to Partners and Brokers
  • Enhancing sales activity and generating new business
  • Handling customer complaints in accordance with company policy
  • Maintaining up to date records of account activity and feedback
  • Collating and reporting any system issues
  • Effective management of selected Key Accounts

Candidate Qualities

  • Excellent team working skills
  • Excellent communication skills; a confident and engaging approach
  • Ability to work under own initiative and to prioritise a busy workload
  • Work in a professional and composed manner at all time
  • Ability to commit fully to the role and perform at a high level
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook
