Job Title: 1st Line IT Support

Salary: £16K – £18K

Location: Stevenage

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

As the Technical Support Representative you will be responsible for responding to support requests from clients regarding the various packages and services provided by our client ensuring a high quality service is delivered at all times.

A good working knowledge of operating systems and excellent communication skills are required for this role to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided at all times.

Duties

  • Take ownership of calls from start to finish while providing exceptional customer service

  • Providing support to bespoke software and other computer hardware

  • Log issues and resolutions in the CRM

  • Escalate issues to Technical Support level 2 or Technical Support Supervisor as required

  • Maintain and increase product knowledge

  • Provide input for new products, features and product usability

Skills/Experience

  • 3 x GCSE’s C or above; ideally in English, Maths and IT (or equivalent)

  • Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft applications

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Able to hit targets

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
