This is an excellent opportunity for a German speaking experienced Business Development Executive to join this fast growing global Media & Technology agency, ranked in the Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA.
This client is looking for motivated and experienced New Business Development Manager’ for their office in London to work the German market place. With Offices in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Munich, Brussels, New York and Austin, Texas, their main clients are leading players in the creative, media, technology, life sciences and financial services sectors.
The company operate within the localization industry, which consists of companies that provide translation and communications services for businesses that want to customize their product and marketing communications for local markets around the world. The industry meets the needs of companies that market their products and services globally, but want to ensure that their communications meet local cultural, language, political, legal and business requirements.
You’ll be able to generate significant revenue and commissions through outbound calling to executives and decision makers. In addition, you must have the ability to approach and present to upper management and C-Level decision-makers.
The role
- Generate new business through prospecting via the internet, networking and trade shows
- Identify large opportunities and develop the actions necessary to win business
- Work with Sales Management, and fellow Business Development Managers to implement sales strategies, identify opportunities, close sales, motivate the team and spur growth
- Educate prospects on potential solutions and communicate the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages their offerings.
- Prepare proposals for customers and follow up to convert quotes into projects
- Evaluate and process RFPs as necessary
- Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of internal protocol and procedures
- Effectively communicate project specifications to Project Account Managers
- Provide customer support; manage client expectations in conjunction with the Project Account Managers
- Maintain records of telephonic interactions, orders and accounts in CRM software
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3+ years sales experience
- Translation & localization industry experience is preferred
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Demonstrated sales ability in every aspect of sales lifecycle
- Ideal candidate will have established network of professionals and buyers within the industry
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and closing skills
- Must be comfortable doing business over the phone, and be a confident and aggressive prospector
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
This role would suit an experienced and effective, solutions focused business developer with exposure to the financial sector. Your background will be in Media, Technology, Software, Translation/Localisation and Communications services.
