IT Support Engineer
The Opportunity:
ISR are looking to attract suitable IT Support candidates to join our household named client based in the Stockport area of Cheshire. The role is paying c£30,000 per year (plus excellent company benefits and bonuses). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the IT Manager in providing IT and Desktop support to the business and for assisting with the delivery of internal IT projects.
Skills and Experience:
- General day-to-day IT Support for all internal employees
- Commercial experience providing desktop, network and in-house application support
- All site specific IT Support (LANs / CCTV / Wireless Networks / Phone Systems)
- Work closely with the web team to assist in ensuring that the website is fully operational at all times
- First class customer service and support to all colleagues – internally the role has high visibility
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide training to improve user efficiency and try to simplify complex technical messages in order to improve user understanding
- Providing installation, configuration and support for laptops, desktops, phones and printers
- Monitor incident trends and identifying recurring incidents for resolution
- Ensure that together the IT team develops effective working relationships at all levels
