Acting Senior Extra Care Worker – Older People

The Extra Care Service in Houghton Regis is looking for a warm, motivated individual with leadership quality to provide person centred support which enables older people to enjoy an active and independent lifestyle. You will provide compassionate care whilst promoting dignity, opportunity, choice and wellbeing. You must have good communication skills and be able to provide respectful personal care. You will also have the partial responsibility of staff deployment to ensure all levels are met. Experience of coaching and supervising staff and with a relevant social care qualification is desirable.

Creative Support also offers a wide range of training courses and this will be a perfect opportunity for those who are seeking to progress in the health and social care sector as we also offer the QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 – 5. As a senior practitioner and supervisor, we will support your continuous development by providing accredited courses such as person centred planning, communication approaches and many more.
