The Organisation: Justin Tilbury are working alongside a rapidly growing provider of communications solutions and services to SME, mid-size and corporate businesses. Their product portfolio includes PBX’s, VoIP services, fixed lines, calls, broadband, SIP and Managed Internet Services. They are a Communications Provider with an in-house billing platform and they are entering into an exciting new phase of development as an ISP, ensuring they can continue to offer clients best value, flexibility and outstanding support via their in-house service desk.
The Role: They are seeking an experienced and/or suitably qualified broadband and data network support specialist.
Under general supervision, you will maintain company systems and provide excellent customer service and support for their network services.
This role would suit a junior candidate with some experience of broadband / data services. An individual with good personal organisation, excellent telephone manner and a conscientious and positive approach when dealing with staff and customers.
Basic knowledge of broadband and data technology such as MPLS, VPN and Leased Line/Managed Internet connectivity is ideally required. Further training will be provided if required. Cisco or other networking skills would be advantageous.

Main Duties:
- 1st and 2nd line technical support for our customer base and internal departments.
- Providing first and second line technical support on hardware and software relating to Broadband / Data Networks.
- Implementation and testing of new broadband services inc ADSL2+, FTTC and FTTP
- Broadband router configuration and support.
Key Skills/Attributes:
- Candidate must have ISP support experience or equivalent
- Candidates should have a passion for technology and enjoy working with people
- Experience in 1st and/or preferably a 2nd line technical support role
- Experience in fault logging and tracking
- A good level of IT literacy with experience of using, managing and manipulating databases
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service approach
- Self-motivated
- Logical, systematic and organised approach
Core opening hours for the service desk are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday as well as out of hour’s service. This role will work on a rota basis
