We will pay up to a salary of £60,000 dependent on experience + Car, Bonus, Laptop & mobile and life assurance.
Role Objective:
To provide effective leadership, management and budgetary control of your regional operating team. To be responsible and accountable for achieving KPIs and objectives as agreed with the Operations Director. To manage your team in line with agreed Company processes and effectively communicate across all departments. To maintain and develop good customer relations at operational level at all times and create and develop business growth opportunities. To adopt a retail approach across the machine base to maximise sales and revenue.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
1)Area management
*To manage your area, focusing on improving all aspects of your area including performance, sales, rationalising costs, logistics, route optimisation, delivering operational efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction through the delivery of exceptional service and product offers.
*To be accountable for the achievement of department KPIs and Objectives.
*To ensure that all agreed Company processes and procedures are adhered to, including, filling, cleaning, servicing and merchandising, electronic or paper based administration, cashing up and stock control.
2) People Management
*To increase the quality of the team, through good recruitment, training and development, and through the effective coaching, leading, and managing a team of people.
*To ensure appraisals and professional development of staff is effectively maintained and adhered to.
*To manage poor performance and misconduct quickly and effectively to reach a positive outcome for the business whilst following the Disciplinary Procedures.
*To manage attendance and sickness absence in line with the appropriate Company policies.
3)Retail Management and Customer Service
*To follow retail concepts focusing on maximising product throughput and increase sales.
*To manage, analyse and build the budget for your area, focusing on increasing income streams and profit margin, whilst controlling relevant cost centres.
*To maintain and develop processes and procedures and implementing throughout the operating department.
*To maintain and develop the top 20 customers developing and maintaining excellent customer relations.
*To be proactive and aware of any potential issues that may arise to prevent problems and areas of concerns before they occur.
*To identify new business opportunities for the customer management team and co-ordinate through the internal lead management process.
4)Additional Responsibilities
*To comply with all Company and Statutory regulations regarding Health and Safety, and to make yourself aware and observe all relevant health and safety rules and procedures on customer sites.
*To perform other duties and manage other projects as required and according to the needs of the business.
Person Specification:
At least 4 to 5 years of management experience within a retail, catering or hospitality environment
Delivering high levels of service to all customers
Knowledge of managing P&L’s
Strong commercial knowledge
Experience of setting and achieving KPI’s & targets
Experience of recruiting, training & developing others
Strong leadership and management skills
Passionate & driven
Good knowledge of principles & procedures within employment law
