Orion Health are currently recruiting an experienced Account Manager for the London Office.
Job Purpose
This job exists to work with Sales Directors within the UK and Ireland. It will involve taking ownership of new business development and sales for the Rhapsody product. The role will also involve providing account management support where necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Sales Executive seeking to both offer and develop their account management and business development experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- To encourage existing account upsell across UK and Ireland for Orion Health’s offerings
- Sales planning, lead generation and business development through cold calling, driving campaigns, participating in Tradeshows, client site visits and identifying opportunities in the market.
- Develop proposals to increase revenue by working closely with the commercial manager and business units to work contracts through internal processes.
- Translate market needs into commercial actions through understanding technical conversations to allow actions to be completed and to have sufficient credibility with internal and external customers.
Person Specifications:
- 3 years of sales, account management or business development
- Proven track record of meeting challenging targets
- An understanding of NHS purchasing processes and behaviours as well as how IT services can transform healthcare
- Familiar with clinical terminology to facilitate engagement with new and existing clients.
- Pipeline management – working to targets and progressing sales through the sell cycle.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and strategies to encourage business development.
- Excellent communication skills with appropriate commercial acumen to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
