Tasks:
Managing internal and external relationships directly and through the AP team including dealing with Heads of Departments and escalated supplier issues
Running weekly reports including aged Creditors and Stock Purchase Order Forecast reports Checking weekly payment runs
Responsibility for monthly AP reporting for the Management Accounts including all AP ledgers, reconciling accounts and AP KPI reporting
Responsible for the short and mid-term management of the AP team incorporating 6 individuals
Supporting and coaching the team
Setting individual and team objectives to be discussed through ongoing 1-2-1’s
Key Skills
Strong financial accounting knowledge
Minimum 3 years Management experience
Experience in a mid-sized Retailer is preferred
Experience on SAP is preferred
Experience in people management is essential
Ability to work under pressure would be an asset
