My client, a global leader in the Payments/Merchant Acquiring arena is continuing to invest and expand in a high growth industry. Due to the continued success and ongoing expansion of the organisation, a fantastic opportunity has arisen within the London/South East sales team and they are keen to bring on board an ambitious individual who will play a key role in the continued success of the organisation.

They are looking for someone currently in the early stages of a B2B Sales Leadership role who is looking to progress in their career with an exciting international organisation.

You will be responsible for managing a team of 9 Business Development Managers who are responsible for winning new merchant acquiring business with Corporate clients with t/o £2-100m

Experience in Payments/Merchant Acquiring is NOT required; in fact we are ideally looking for young talented people from other industries – telecoms, financial services and other B2B sales industries.

Overall Job Purpose

  • Managing a team of 9 sales professionals
  • Motivating the team to OVERACHIEVE on demanding new business targets
  • Conducting and win face to face appointments through their own contacts
  • Managing a joint venture on behalf of the company

Essential Skills:

  • 2 years minimum of sales LEADERSHIP experience
  • Business to Business sales skills
  • Ability to present at a corporate level
  • Proven track record in achieving targets
