The Opportunity
This is an internal facing IT Support role where the 3rd Line Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer will have complete ownership of the IT Environment. The client runs a Windows 2012 Server environment with VMware High Availability Clustering as well as a Linux Application Server and enterprise Network Switches and Routers.

This Infrastructure Engineer must have a broad skill set that spans Server, Storage, Networks, Active Directory, Firewalls, Exchange and more. This will give the Server Engineer full responsibility and ownership of IT.

The Role
The Server Engineer will manage the day to day operations, maintaining the companies VMware Hosts, LAN and WAN and Wireless Networks and troubleshooting all applications including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Backups and Firewalls.

The client is a world leader in their field and have an exciting place to work, there is a mix of Projects, BAU and Diagnostic/Troubleshooting.

Skills / Experience
Solid Windows Server Experience – Windows Server 2012 onwards
Virtualisation Technology specifically with VMware
VEEM Backup and Replication
Storage SAN
High level advanced Active Directory experience
Networking expertise
