Area Manager

Our National client are currently looking for an experienced Area/Sales Manager to work out of their Skegness based depot to cover an expanding Lincolnshire area, including Lincoln, Grimsby and Scunthorpe. The successful candidate will be responsible for both the management of the on site team as well as their own field based sales and business development activity to drive and secure new business in the area.  

As the senior member of your nominated branch or branches, your primary responsibility in this role would be to promote and sell our wide product offering to existing and new customers. Working closely with the Branch Managers, you will need to identify business opportunities, ensuring that Sales, Margin and Customer Service are maintained at the highest level. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will be expected to achieve set Gross Profit targets and operational KPI’s.

As an integral partof a small branch team, you would need a ‘hands on’ approach, assisting in branch operations as required.

The Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to customers from a wide range of building sectors. Experience of the window industry would be an advantage but not a requirement.
