A highly successful technology company have engaged the Ashdown Group to find a talented PC & Network Support Specialist to join their team.
The successful individual will have solid experience in server support and administration that can also be a point of escalation for all queries from the 1st and 2nd line team.
The purpose of the role is to provide support for all networked PC’s and Servers in a Microsoft Windows Environment. You will help to upgrade Network/PC software and hardware, manage security settings and User ID’s on the networks, control Server Backups and diagnostics and log all problems for users.
To be considered you need solid skills in all or most of the below:
• Citrix Presentation Server 4.5/Citrix Access Gateway/XenApps 6.5
• VMware
• Windows Server 2003/2008
• Networking in an IP LAN & WAN environment
• Lotus Notes / Domino administration
• Mobile device management
While not essential it would support your application if you had an understanding of VoIP and VPN, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, McAfee Antivirus and RSA SecureID.
The responsibilities will include working on projects and high level implementations; so requires a candidate who is analytical, comfortable prioritising their workload and has a strong attention to detail.
This is a permanent position offering between £30-30,000 per annum dependent on depth of relevant skills and experience plus bonus and substantial benefits.
